Singer John McLean informs us that "this is a lovely song about heartache and rejection, and all the things that will happen to you eventually". It is dedicated to the "...surly skinhead at the front...totally wasted on him...". The skinhead heckles back that was wasted on the singer too. The skinhead is Pat (Chaos Uk drummer) and 13 years later they team up to make more music totally wasted on people "..truffles for pigs..." says McLean. Bassist John Chilcott protests at the slow pace of this song by sitting down resting on his amps cab (or has he collapsed pissed?!).
